Concordia University Ann Arbor will look to celebrate its history and ongoing mission through the creation of a Memorabilia Room to be hosted in Earhart Manor.

Interim Executive Administrator Michael Duffy is leading the effort to honor and commemorate the rich history of the campus, which had its start in 1962. The Memorabilia Room will include physical items, excerpts of historical documents, and video displays.

“People on campus are excited about this effort,” Duffy said. “Concordia Ann Arbor has played a pivotal role in many people’s lives. It’s a small way to celebrate the impact this place has had on so many.”

Alumni contributions welcomed

Duffy says he will look to exhibit items from CUAA’s archives, as well donated contributions. Duffy invites alumni to contribute meaningful memorabilia – t-shirts, beanies, pennants, and the like – to be permanently displayed in the Manor. Those wishing to give an item may:

  • Deliver it in person | There will be staff available during Homecoming festivities to receive items, or Duffy invites individuals to email him to set up a time for a drop-off: Michael.Duffy@cuaa.edu.
  • Mail it to campus | Those who live out of town or are unable to make it to campus in the upcoming months may mail items to 4090 Geddes Road Ann Arbor, MI 48105 Att: Michael Duffy.

Regardless of delivery method, all items should include the following pieces of information:

  • First and last name of donor
  • Year the donor graduated from CUAA
  • Donor’s preferred contact information (Not for display purposes, but in case of follow-up questions)
  • Year the item originated
  • Brief description of its significance
