Congratulations to Teddy Eising, a senior Criminal Justice student and Cori Vanker, Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction with Elementary Teacher Certification, students of the month for November!
When making Students of the Month nominations, we consider students’ achievements in the classroom, their leadership, demonstration of ethics and Christian character and their involvement in extracurricular activities.
Teddy Eising:
Teddy is a dedicated Concordian, active on our cross country team where he is getting personal bests, consistent in chapel worship, and dedicated in class. He is one our first “Great Text Pathway” students who enjoys literature and the insights from primary texts. Already as a rising senior, he began work with a local police force to pave the way for his career after graduation in the spring.
Nominated by Dr. Charles Schulz
Cori Vanker:
Cori is an outstanding student in so many ways! She takes her education seriously, always looking for ways to improve and truly retain the knowledge from her courses. Cori is active on the discussion boards, encouraging her classmates and helping wherever she can. She is majoring in both Elementary grade bands, something not many people are able to do successfully. One of Cori’s best attributes is that she asks thoughtful, informative questions and leads with a heart full of Jesus.
Nominated by Dr. Sara Clemm von Hohenberg
