If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Oh my, perhaps the ability to make Mars a livable planet? I find our Mars rover-based research to be fascinating…
Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
My wife is much better with actor/actress names and trivia than I am. Perhaps Danny DeVito would be appropriate? Is that too dated a response Perhaps no one is familiar with Mr. DeVito anymore…
What is the one place you want to travel to and why?
My wife’s family is from Nova Scotia, so we make an annual trip back home to see everyone.
If you could have any animal, real or fiction, as a pet, which one would you choose?
In addition to my fascination with Mars, I’m reading a lot of books lately regarding the North American megafauna extinction between 15,000-8,000 years ago. There are many megafauna that would make interesting pets, provided you could interact with them in that way. Giant bears, mastodons, dire wolves, horses, camels, and – though it’s a bit cliche – saber-toothed kitties.
