Meet Laney Roberts (’22).

Hometown: Port Huron, Michigan

Major: Nursing

RA of Silas Hall (secondary)

What are three fun facts about yourself?

  • I’m a cheerleader and a nursing student
  • I love sunsets and sunflowers
  • I enjoy traveling to new places

What’s been your favorite Concordia experience so far?

My favorite part of being at Concordia so far is how many people I have met and how many lifetime friends I have made. Everyone here is so friendly and makes me feel at home and like we’re all a family.

What’s one thing that Concordia students should have in their hall?

One thing you should have in your room is extension cords. Although there are many plugs in the room they are sometimes hard to reach for desired places and extension cords make it a lot easier to reach where you want.

What’s something that Concordia students should not have in their hall?

One thing you shouldn’t have in your dorm is flammable liquids, like gas or oil that could create fire in your hall.

First impression of joining the Residence Life Team?

My first impression of being an RA was that this is a great opportunity to get to know more people on campus and be involved in everyday campus life. I enjoyed getting to meet everyone and talk about what everyone was looking forward to this year as RA’s.
