Concordia University Ann Arbor’s Black Box Theatre, 4090 Geddes Road, will be filled with the music of the Wind and String Ensembles on Thursday, May 4 at 8 p.m

Under the direction of Professor William Perrine, the String Ensemble will perform chamber and string orchestra music from the Baroque period to contemporary music.  This auditioned group began in 2014 and is open to all students with prior experience playing violin, viola, cello or string bass.

Prof. Perrine also directs the Wind Ensemble, whose repertoire is chosen from among the finest traditional and contemporary wind band music.  The ensemble regularly hosts guest composers in residence.  Next spring, the group has been invited to perform at The Sydney Opera House in Australia.
