Cantus, an ensemble called "the premier men's vocal ensemble in the United States" by Fanfare Magazine, returns to Concordia University Ann Arbor Sunday, November 12 for a program entitled, "Discovery of Sight."


The concert, including seasoned masterpieces by Richard Strauss and Franz Schubert, will be held at 4 p.m. in The Chapel of the Holy Trinity on the university’s main campus, 4090 Geddes Road.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.  At its heart, the event will revel in the mystery, science and poetry of what it means to truly see.

Other fine arts events during the next five weeks include:

40th Annual Boar’s Head Festival, Friday, December 1-Sunday, December 3 (7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 4 p.m. Sunday), Chapel of the Holy Trinity. Tickets, priced from $8-$15, will go on sale beginning Monday, October 30 at 1 p.m.

The Concordia Wind and String Ensemble, Thursday, December 7, 8 p.m., Kreft Center Black Box Theatre, Dr. William Perrine, director. Free.
