Concordia University Ann Arbor’s 2017-2018 concert series will begin Sunday, October 1 with five ensembles joining together in a special 4 p.m. concert in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, 4090 Geddes Road.
The Concordia Choir, Men’s Chorus and Women’s Chorale will perform, under the direction of Dr. Brian L. Altevogt. Dr. William L. Perrine will direct the Brass Ensemble and Wind Ensemble. The choir traveled throughout central Europe this summer on a performance tour to celebrate Concordia’s Lutheran heritage and the university’s continued celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation this October.

A Reformation 500 Worship Service, Concordia Choir, Tuesday, October 31, 7 p.m., Chapel of the Holy Trinity.
The 40th annual Boars Head Festival, Friday, December 1-Sunday, December 3, Chapel of the Holy Trinity. Tickets, priced from $8 to $15, will go on sale Monday, October 30 at 1 p.m., and can be ordered by phone at 734-995-7537.
