Meet Tristan Waechter (’22).

Hometown: Fairfield, California

Major: Sport and Entertainment Business

RA of Barnabas Hall

What are three fun facts about yourself?

  • I’m a multi-sport athlete at Concordia
  • I’m not from Michigan
  • I will be the oldest RA on staff this year.

What’s been your favorite part of your Concordia experience so far?

My favorite part of my experience at Concordia is the small campus feel. You really get to know people quickly and form relationships easily.

What’s one thing that Concordia students should have in their hall?

For me, absolute necessities are mini fridges and my TV. Our cable actually has far more channels than most other places I’ve seen, with upward of 100 channels and we have fridges in the Common Area, however, having your own in your room makes it much easier to guarantee you’ll have the space to store everything you want.

What’s something that Concordia students should NOT have in their hall?

Candles. That’s one of the most common things students seem to forget about.

How long have you been an RA?

I was an RA in 2019-20, so this will be my second year.
