Student reading to you ng kids with the words

Concordia University Ann Arbor’s new Move & Groove Youth Literacy Camp is already generating excitement ahead of its June 22–26 launch.

MLive recently featured the free summer camp, highlighting its focus on helping young learners strengthen literacy skills through engaging, movement-based learning experiences in a supportive environment. The coverage underscores Concordia’s ongoing commitment to serving local families and creating meaningful educational opportunities within the Ann Arbor community.

University faculty will lead the camp, with occupational therapy students facilitating activities as part of their clinical training. The collaborative approach provides children with personalized support while giving Concordia students valuable hands-on experience connected to their future vocations.

The Move & Groove Youth Literacy Camp also reflects Concordia’s mission as a Lutheran higher education community committed to helping students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world.

By combining literacy development, movement, and experiential learning, the camp represents another way Concordia University Ann Arbor is living out its mission through service to both students and the surrounding community.
