Effective fall 2020, Concordia University Ann Arbor is offering a special scholarship to students who wish to transfer directly from Washtenaw Community College and continue toward a Bachelor's degree at CUAA.
In the spirit of collaboration with higher education neighbors and partners at Washtenaw Community College (WCC), Concordia is investing in the academic success of students by providing a seamless transition for those who would like to pursue the completion of a four-year degree.
“In our current educational climate students are seeking every potential option to ensure they are gaining a quality education that aligns with their goals and their lifestyle. By providing a scholarship such as the WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia we, in collaboration with colleagues at WCC, are opening up the opportunity for students to continue to pursue their education in an environment that is Christ-centered,” said Assistant Director of Admissions Deirdre Lozon.
As a demonstration of that commitment, CUAA will award the WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia Scholarship to students who meet the criteria outlined below.
WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia Scholarship – $1,000
In particular, any WCC student who meets the following criteria may receive the WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 renewable each academic year*:
- Successfully completes an associate degree and/or completes at least 60 credits
- Meets the CUAA admission requirements for transfer students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater for full acceptance.
*Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to ensure renewal
WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia Scholarship – $500
Any WCC student who wishes to transfer to CUAA and has successfully completed at least 30 credits at WCC may be eligible for a WCC Direct Pathway to Concordia Scholarship in the amount of $500 renewable each academic year*. The scholarship may be awarded provided the student meets the following criteria:
- Meets the CUAA admission requirements for transfer students into with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater for full acceptance.
*Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to ensure renewal
