Concordia University Ann Arbor has announced its fall 2020 Scholastic Honors List, and 283 CUAA students have made the list.
Students were notified of their achievement in an email from the provost’s office on Wednesday, February 24. An honors certificate will be mailed to each student’s home address.
Concordia’s Scholastic Honors List—known at other schools as a ‘Dean’s List’—can be earned by full-time undergraduate students whose semester grade point average is at 3.6 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Provost William Cario, PhD, noted in his email to students that the fall semester’s COVID adaptations make this achievement that much more impressive.
“God provides people with a wide variety of gifts, passions, and skills so that they can meet the wide variety of needs in our world. It is clear that you are blessed with strong intellectual gifts,” wrote Cario. “I pray that you recognize those gifts, combined with hard work and perseverance, can help you to reach your goals in your callings in this life.”
