Have you heard? Concordia’s Master’s of Social Work application is open!
Social work is one of the fastest-growing professions in the U.S. So, your timing for pursuing an MSW couldn’t be better. Our program offers significant flexibility with a 100% online master’s program. Online coursework paired with full-and part-time options gives you more flexibility during the week for field placements and other life priorities.
Concordia’s MSW also offers two concentrations as an Advanced Generalist or Clinical Social Worker. Even if you don’t have a BSW, our program allows students with a bachelor’s degree to complete a master’s in two years. Finishing your degree is even quicker for those with a BSW.
The MSW cohort starts in August every year. If you’re ready to get your MSW, it’s the perfect time to apply.
MSW admissions deadlines
Priority Deadline: January 15
Final Deadline: June 1
Why should I apply early?
Not only does applying early take the stress of last-minute rushing off of you, but offers you benefits as a priority student.
Haley Sanders, the graduate admissions counselor for MSW, suggests that “Using the priority deadline allows you a significant amount of time to find a field placement that will fit your interests. This is especially true if you’re an out-of-state student, since we’re starting to grow our relationship with placements outside of Wisconsin.” Applying early also allows you to have a better chance of receiving a spot before the cohort fills up.
Apply early and save money!
New this year, students who apply before January 15, 2023, will have the $250 deposit waived. So, not only does applying early give you a head start, but you can also receive a break from the upfront cost of depositing.
