Concordia’s International Center will host a series of events Nov. 13-17 as part of the broader International Education Week celebration.
Each year, the U.S. Department of State, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education, champions International Education Week as an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The goal of this joint initiative is to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.
This year, CUAA has much to celebrate in terms of its international growth. The international population on campus nearly doubled this year. International Coordinator Britt-Marie Martinsson says CUAA has added its first in-person MBA cohort specifically to accommodate the growing interest from this population of students.
The International Center will celebrate CUAA’s international students alongside the national observance with a series of cultural events and activities. The entire CUAA community is invited to participate.
