Classroom Support Specialist
How long have you been working for Concordia?
I began October 10, 2022. So, coming on two years this fall!
What is your favorite pastime?
Aside from being home with my wife Christen and two cats Boogie and Roo, I love spending time with my family, friends, and animals (horses, cats, dogs, etc.) back home in Pennsylvania. There is truly no place like home.
What are you passionate about that not everyone knows?
I am an avid fan of classical music. I listen to very little Pop Music and as such, I am only a Swiftie vicariously through my wife (unless you count Polka as Pop). I would better be described as a Bachie or a Vivaldi-ie.
What movie, book, or TV show ‘changed your life’?
It’s cliché but true: our four Gospels. I intently studied the Synoptics and John during my undergraduate and graduate degrees and hope to for the rest of my life. They are ever moving and meaningful for my life and for the lives of others. They pose, I believe answers to the question that has changed my life; Who is Jesus?
What word do you hate hearing?
I do not hate any particular word. I do, however, have a favorite word/sentence: “Why?” I find curiosity to be one of the greatest gifts a person can possess and utilize. Leading a life without curiosity for the people, places, and thoughts around oneself seems to me to be poor stewardship.
