ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Concordia University Ann Arbor is pleased to recognize academic excellence among its students. Each academic year (once in either December or May), a graduating student is chosen from Concordia’s academic department for their excellence in their chosen field of study. The students are recognized at the baccalaureate service preceding commencement exercises. This semester’s awardees include:

RONALD AND MARVEL JONES SCHOOL OF NURSING
Each semester, the Concordia University Ann Arbor Ronald and Marvel Jones School of Nursing celebrates a Pinning Ceremony for the graduating cohort. On Saturday, May 8, the nursing department honored the Gamma Class, the sixth cohort to graduate from CUAA’s bachelor of science in nursing program.
Concordia’s nursing faculty and staff nominate students from the graduating cohort who best represent the core values of the nursing program: service, excellence, compassion, and integrity. An additional award, the Nightingale Award, was created as a tribute to Florence Nightingale who embodied nursing as her life’s vocation.
